OVERALL BACKGROUND

Managed the ECS Helpdesk for six months and then joined the organization on a permanent basis as the ECS Webmaster for http://www.ecs.org. Helped define the position and grow the Web site from a static, Lotus Notes-driven site to a much larger, dynamic, MS ASP/SQL-driven site. Have since continued development and expansion of site's capabilities--on my own, and with hired consultants--including a nascent conversion to .NET architecture. Prior to ECS, I worked for ten years, four years in MIS department, for a growing book wholesaler. During that time I held positions in several departments in the company; facilitated the move of company headquarters to a new location; and served on the Board of Directors.
